Clinical Rotations
The students in this class will be learning about the different aspects of health care i.e. legal/ethical issues, HIPPA, infection control, cultural diversity, etc. They will be taught about different health care careers and then given the opportunity to go into the local hospitals and clinics to shadow health care professionals. By the end of this course, the students will be CPR certified and will be able to narrow down what health care field they would like to pursue.

Practicum in Clinical Rotations I & II
Carrie Harwell teaches clinical rotations. This is her 4th year as an educator. Prior to teaching, she was an athletic trainer in the high school setting.
She received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and Health Education from Texas A&M University at Commerce and Graduate degree in Kinesiology and Health from the University of Texas at Tyler.
She is passionate about educating future health care students and watching them find their passion. When she is not educating the future in healthcare, she enjoys spending time with her family.
