This program is a hands-on, interactive, and exciting way to learn about the animal health care industry. These courses are designed to give students hands-on experience in the veterinary and animal science fields. By completing the program and the required clinical hours, students may apply for their Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) Certification through the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA).

My name is Bryce Gerhardt and this is my sixth year teaching and my fourth year at KCAL. I teach agriculture and veterinary science. I am also an FFA advisor through our program.

I have a beautiful wife Danielle Gerhardt and two precious daughters Emma Rose and Nora Nell. In my free time, I enjoy ranching, hiking and any outdoor activities.

Morgan Breneman teaches Practicum in Agriculture and Veterinary Medical Applications. She graduated from Tarleton State University in 2019 with a BS in Agriculture Services and Development with a Teacher Certification.

Agriculture and FFA have been a huge part of her life and she is honored to have the opportunity to share her passion with her students. She believes it is a teacher’s obligation to enter the classroom with high expectations and an open mind for each student.

My name is Hunter Bagwell and this is my second year at KCAL. I am proud to be on the Agriculture Science Team here and serve as an advisor over our FFA program.

My hobbies include being outdoors, hiking, hunting and fishing, refinishing outdated furniture and spending quality time with my wife and our seven-month-old yellow lab, Goose!

Kaylee Snyder teaches R&D: Veterinary Clinical Skills.

Born in Tennessee, she has spent some time in several different states before moving here to Texas in 2015 to finish her bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University. WHOOP!

She has been teaching for three years now, all here at Keller Center for Advanced Learning. Her own experience in FFA and her agricultural science classes are what led her to pursue a career as an Agriculture Science Teacher and FFA Advisor.

Her favorite part of the job is watching as her students grasp new concepts and pour their heart into their passions as well as traveling around the state to allow students to compete in various FFA events.

In her free time, she enjoys shopping, cooking, traveling, and watching the Fightin’ Texas Aggies on Saturdays in the fall.

My name is Jenni Kiggins and I will be teaching the Principles of Floral Design course this year. I am also one of the FFA advisors and supervise our goats at ALC.

I am starting my seventh year teaching, six of which have been floral design. I just got married in March to my wonderful husband Josh and we have two dogs and two cats!

I graduated from West Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education. In college I was a part of a leadership program called Rogers LEAD WT. I also competed on the WT soils judging team and was a team captain for two years. In my free time I like to ice skate, go on hikes, and just be outdoors. I am looking forward to being a veterinary medicine teacher at KCAL!
