My Career Connections
My Career Connections provides 18+ services for students with Individualized Education Plans who are continuing to develop their readiness for employment and independent living after completing high school requirements. Students work at community-based work sites for career exploration and internships. Services are individualized based on the skills the student needs to be ready for work and life after Keller ISD. Beyond employment readiness, students receive instruction in self-advocacy, independence, and self-determination. My Career Connections works closely with Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Vocational Rehabilitation Services to create a seamless transition to adult agency supports. In collaboration with TWC, our students receive additional specialized training and paid work experiences.
